Ravens safety Eric Weddle has posted images on social media of his favorite post-game celebration after a win, which is a big bowl of ice cream, with Oreos and caramel mixed in it. But until Weddle appeared today on PFT Live, we didn’t realize how big a bowl.
Weddle said that he goes to the grocery store, buys a huge quantity of ice cream, mixes in the Oreos and caramel the way he likes it, and then goes to town on Sunday nights when the Ravens win on Sunday afternoon.
“I would think that I consume a full gallon,” Weddle said. “I usually take the first batch of some ice cream, eat it and then about an hour later, at halftime of the Sunday night game, I go after a second serving. So I pretty much get a whole gallon of ice cream Sunday night. It’s pretty bad.”
A gallon of ice cream has about 4,500 calories, but if it works for Weddle, far be it from us to tell him to watch what he eats. And Weddle only eats that much when he’s rewarding himself for a hard-earned win. Asked about his routine after a loss, Weddle answered, “I definitely don’t get ice cream.”
