Having already lost cornerback Prince Amukamara to a biceps injury early in the evening, the New York Giants had to watch one of the their starting offensive linemen carted off the field as well.
Giants left guard Weston Richburg went down with a right ankle injury late in the third quarter of Monday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Richburg stepped on the foot of running back Andre Williams while blocking a Colts defender and turned his ankle in an awkward direction. Richburg immediately went to the turf and a cart was needed to take him from the field to the locker room.
The Giants announced that Richburg was out for the remainder of the game. He was replaced by Adam Snyder.
