The Colts have lost one of their key defensive players for the rest of Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh.

According to Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest and other reporters, Colts cornerback Vontae Davis will miss the remainder of Sunday’s matchup at Heinz Field with a knee injury.

The loss of Davis is a major blow to the Colts’ defense, which has been riddled by Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who’s completed 18-of-20 passes for 274 yards and four TDs as Pittsburgh has taken a 35-17 lead late in the second quarter.

One of the Colts’ starting corners, the 26-year-old Davis entered Sunday with 12 passes defended and two picks for Indianapolis.
