Tony Brown gets three-year deal with Titans

Titans defensive linemen usually have to leave Tennessee to get big money.

Defensive tackle Tony Brown, however, is staying put. Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports Brown has agreed to a three-year deal.

Yet another success story for defensive line coach Jim Washburn, Brown was a Pro Bowl alternate after recording 61 tackles and 5 sacks last year. Brown was originally picked up as an undrafted free agent.

This deal was largely expected, and we don’t see it affecting any possible pursuit of Albert Haynesworth.
