The Titans are moving on from kicker Matthew Wright.
Tennessee announced on Monday that Wright has been waived.
Filling in for the injured Nick Folk, Wright hit field goals of 28 and 39 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars. He also connected on his one extra-point attempt.
Wright, 28, has also filled in at kicker for Kansas City and San Francisco this season. He’s made 13-of-14 field goals and 6-of-6 extra points in 2024.
Tennessee letting go of Wright could be an indication that Folk will be able to return for the season finale. Folk has been dealing with an abdomen injury.
