The Titans confirmed that they waived quarterback Will Levis on Sunday afternoon and they also announced the departure of Hendon Hooker.
With both quarterbacks on the list of cuts, the Titans have Cam Ward and Mitchell Trubisky on the depth chart. Teams can begin filling out their practice squads and the Titans seem likely to have a third quarterback on that roster.
The Titans also waived or released wide receivers Courtney Jackson, Lance McCutcheon, Bryce Oliver, Mason Kinsey, Hank Beatty, KJ Osborn, and Tyren Montgomery; tight end Joel Wilson; offensive linemen Rasheed Miller, Drew Moss, Zachary Thomas, Cordell Volson, and Aamil Wagner; running backs Michael Carter, D’Ernest Johnson, and Kalel Mullings; defensive linemen Earnest Brown, Malik Herring, Jalyn Holmes, Khalen Saunders, and Laki Tasi; linebackers Derrick Canteen, Reid Carrico, Dyontae Johnson, and Mani Powell; and defensive backs Kendell Brooks, Keydrain Calligan, Bishop Fitzgerald, Mario Goodrich, Corey Mayfield and Jalen McMurray.
Linebacker Dorian Mausi and cornerback Joshua Williams were placed on injured reserve with designations to return. Center Andre James and defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon are also on injured reserve, but do not have that designation.
