In 1960, K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. founded the Houston Oilers. They moved to Tennessee in 1997, became the Titans in 1999, and Adams ran the show until he died last week at the age of 90.

After the passing of legendary Bears owner and NFL pioneer George Halas, the Bears permanently added his initials -- GSH -- to the striping on the team’s sleeve. It would be fitting for the Titans to find a way to remember Adams in a way that becomes a permanent part of the uniform.
