When I found myself wide awake on Wednesday morning at 3:00 a.m., I decided that watching the Jerry Jones/Jerry Richardson interview with Charlie Rose would put me back to sleep.
And even if the content of the interview wasn’t enough to induce drowsiness, I was hoping that merely looking at Charlie Rose would do the trick.
Fortunately (or not), it didn’t. Richardson’s decision to revisit his “no tattoos or piercings” admonition to Cam Newton provided a solid lead story for the early morning, sparking a nationwide debate and harvesting more than 66,000 votes (and counting) for a poll on whether teams should be able to tell players not to decorate their bodies in this way.
If you haven’t cast a ballot yet, feel free to do so now.
