The Texans were busy in the sixth round last month and they’ve reached agreement on contracts with the four players they selected during that round.
Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle reports that the team has signed nose tackle Chris Jones, wide receiver Alan Bonner (pictured), offensive tackle David Quessenberry and Connecticut tight end Ryan Griffin. They will all be taking part in the team’s rookie minicamp this weekend.

So will 23 undrafted free agents, a group that does not include former Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein. It was originally thought that Klein signed a deal with the team after the draft, but he will only be taking part in minicamp as a tryout player. They did sign former Notre Dame running back Cierre Wood, who ran for almost 2,500 yards as a member of the Fighting Irish and will compete for a job behind Arian Foster.

The rest of the undrafted free agents are: Pitt running back Ray Graham; Arkansas running back Dennis Johnson; Cincinnati running back George Winn; Ohio State fullback Zach Boren; Miami (OH) wide receiver Andy Cruse; Syracuse wide receiver Alex Lemon; Texas A&M wide receiver Ozoma Nwachukwu; Connecticut wide receiver Mike Smith; Western Michigan tackle Dann O’Neill; Louisville guard Alex Kupper; SMU guard Bryan Collins; Florida defensive end Earl Okine; Stephen F. Austin linebacker Willie Jefferson; Kansas State linebacker Justin Tuggle; SMU linebacker Ja’Gared Davis; Illinois State linebacker Evan Frierson; Michigan State cornerback Johnny Adams; Central Florida cornerback A.J. Bouye; Ohio State cornerback Travis Howard; Ohio State safety Orhian Johnson; USC safety Jawanza Starling and Fresno State punter Andrew Shapiro.
