One of the Ravens’ defensive stalwarts was reportedly back on the practice field on Friday.

Outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (thigh) took part in the club’s workout today, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reported.

Dating back to the 2012 postseason, the 31-year-old Suggs has played 23 straight games for the Ravens. He has recorded 11 tackles in three games this season.

Wilson also reports that wide receiver Steve Smith and tight end Owen Daniels were practicing Friday after sitting out Thursday for non-injury related reasons. Smith leads the Ravens in catches (18) and yards (290), while Daniels is the top pass-catching threat at tight end with Dennis Pitta out for the season with a hip ailment.

The Ravens (2-1) are one game behind the Bengals in the AFC North. Baltimore plays Carolina (2-1) on Sunday.
