Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt left Sunday’s loss to the Eagles after hurting his ankle and it appears he avoided a serious injury.
Watt told reporters after the game that he rolled his ankle and that X-rays were negative. He was walking without a boot or crutches in the wake of the 27-13 loss.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that Watt has a low-ankle sprain and that he will be evaluated over the course of the week as they head toward a Saturday game against the Ravens.
Watt had seven tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble, so the Steelers will be hoping that the news about his ankle continues to be good.
