We’re waiting to find out if the Patriots will have tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Danny Amendola on the field for Sunday’s game against the Bengals, but there’s a good chance they’ll be without a key offensive piece even if those two make it into the lineup.

NESN.com reports that running back Stevan Ridley missed practice for the third straight day on Friday because of a knee injury. He hasn’t been ruled out of anything at this point, but it’s rare for a player to miss an entire week of practice and then wind up playing on the weekend.

Brandon Bolden has also been listed on this week’s injury reports with a knee issue, although he’s been a limited participant and is therefore likelier to be in the lineup than Ridley. LeGarrette Blount will be in the lineup and figures to see a boost with the two backs ahead of him both ailing heading into the weekend.

Ridley’s picked up 174 yards and 47 carries though the first four weeks of the season.
