Matt Bryant will remain the Falcons kicker in 2016.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Falcons have released veteran kicker Shayne Graham. Graham was signed on August 20 while Bryant was dealing with muscle tightness in his leg, but Bryant was back on the field against the Jaguars on Thursday night.

Graham played five games with the Falcons while Bryant was injured last season. It was the latest stop of many for Graham, who broke into the NFL with the Bills in 2001 and has since played for the Bengals, Giants, Patriots, Dolphins, Ravens, Texans, Steelers and Saints. He’ll likely be on a short list for any teams looking to make a change at kicker this season.

Bryant has been in the NFL almost as long -- he first kicked for the Giants in 2002 -- and has spent the last seven years in Atlanta.
