Anyone hoping to hear a detailed breakdown of why the Rams blew a 16-point halftime lead in Sunday night’s loss to the Broncos was left disappointed by head coach Sean McVay’s postgame press conference.
McVay spent about 90 seconds on the podium after the 30-26 loss in Denver and fielded a couple of questions before signing off. The answers to those questions didn’t provide much insight into what went wrong for the Rams.
“It’s tough, you know what, but this is sports,” McVay said. “You sign up for all of it. Love our group, just came up short. Give the Broncos credit, they found a way to get it done. We’ll look at ourselves and figure out how we can improve.”
