The Rams started the week with a clean injury report but now have a concern along their offensive line.
Via multiple reporters, head coach Sean McVay told reporters in his Thursday press conference that right tackle Rob Havenstein suffered a shoulder injury during Wednesday’s practice, which makes his status uncertain for the game.
Playing on Saturday this week, Thursday’s session is like a Friday for the Rams and Havenstein usually has Fridays off. But McVay noted Havenstein wouldn’t be able to practice on Thursday with the shoulder issue.
While McVay said the team is hopeful Havenstein will be able to play, Joe Noteboom would start in Havenstein’s place if the longtime right tackle isn’t available.
The Rams have a chance to clinch the NFC West this weekend if they beat the Cardinals on Saturday night, irrespective of the Seahawks’ result on Thursday against the Bears.
