Long left Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers in the first half after hurting his ankle during a sloppy shovel pass that saw fullback Paul Lasike fall on the back of Long’s leg. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that an MRI confirmed that Long won’t be able to play again this season.

Ted Larsen took over for Long against the Buccaneers and will presumably remain in the job if the end of Long’s season is confirmed.
