The Raiders traded center Jordan Meredith to the Jets on Sunday afternoon, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. The Jets will give up a 2027 sixth-rounder for a 2029 seventh-rounder.
Meredith, 28, played 13 games with 11 starts last season, but he faced some struggles in the transition to center. Meredith also started at right guard.
He joined the team in 2022 on a futures contract, and he has played 45 games with 20 starts in his four seasons.
The Jets needed depth in the interior of the offensive line, so Meredith fills a big need.
Meredith is signed for 2026 at $3.5 million and is scheduled to become a free agent in 2027.
