The Texans have cut right tackle Eric Winston, and center Chris Myers is shopping himself around the free agent market.
Those aren’t the only starting offensive linemen Houston is in danger of losing.
The Houston Chronicle reports that free agent guard Mike Brisiel is visiting the Oakland Raiders. New Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp was the Texans’ quarterbacks coach last season, and is installing a zone-blocking scheme in Oakland.
Brisiel is a system fit.
A former undrafted free agent out of Colorado State, Brisiel started 15 games at right guard last season, including the playoffs. The Raiders released starting right guard Cooper Carlisle on Wednesday.
The Chronicle also reports that free agent tight end Joel Dreessen, another possible soon-to-be-ex-Texan, is visiting the New Orleans Saints.
