The Raiders have acquired another veteran player. For a change, he’s under the age of 30.
Per a league source, Oakland claimed receiver Greg Little on waivers. He was cut last week by the Browns.
A second-round pick in 2012, Little has appeared in all 48 regular-season games. But his numbers have dropped consistently, with a rookie performance that included 61 receptions and 709 yards. In 2013, he caught 41 passes for 465 yards.
Earlier in the offseason, the Raiders signed James Jones away from the Packers. The top returning wideouts are Rod Streater (88 yards in 2013) and Denarius Moore (695 yards).
