Peyton Manning dishes it out, takes it at Rob Lowe roast

The show doesn’t premiere for a week (DVR engaged), but a couple of the jokes told at the Comedy Central roast of Rob Lowe have made their way to the public eye.

Retired quarterback Peyton Manning was one of the persons who participated in the roast, which means he’ll be taking shots at Lowe and the others appearing at the roast, and that Manning will have shots taken at him. TMZ.com has one of each.

As to Ann Coulter (who also appeared at the event), Manning said this: “I’m not the only athlete up here,” Manning said. “As you know, earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby.”

Lowe later grabbed at the low-hanging fruit that comes from Manning’s ever-growing forehead.

“Peyton Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion and a Hall of Famer but it didn’t give him a big head,” Lowe said. “That came from years of inbreeding.”

There was surely much more that will be leaked or, as of next Monday, broadcast by Comedy Central.
