If the folks at UnderArmour intended the new Steph Curry shoes to attract dads, it’s working.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has chimed in on the national debate regarding the basic, mostly-white, nondescript, low-rise “Chef Curry” sneaker, saying on Twitter, “Hey what’s the fuss, I think these are some really awesome shoes.”
Observed former Seahawks (current Lions) receiver Golden Tate in response, “They look like the same ones you wear on game day. Of course u like them.”
Carroll responded by posting a photo of his Nike game-day footwear next to the Curry shoes, followed up a Twitter poll.
Voting is open until tomorrow afternoon. But like a fairly significant upcoming national election, there’s really no good choice.
