The Patriots have signed rookie linebacker Ja’Gared Davis and rookie safety Kanorris Davis from the practice squad to fill a pair of roster spots, the club said Saturday.
This is the second stint on the roster for Kanorris Davis (pictured at left). The 23-year-old Troy product played 16 snaps on special teams in the Patriots’ 30-23 win at Atlanta on Sunday. The Patriots waived him the next day, then re-signed him to the practice squad on Wednesday.
Ja’Gared Davis has spent the season to date on the Patriots’ practice squad. Davis, 22, played collegiately at SMU. The Texans originally signed him as undrafted free agent.
The Patriots (4-0) play at Cincinnati on Sunday.
