Panthers won’t make QB, staff changes this week

Panthers head coach Frank Reich’s move to take back offensive play-calling duties didn’t result in a better outcome on Sunday, but he’s not planning any other major changes heading into Week 12.

Reich said at a Monday press conference that the team will not be making any changes to the coaching staff this week. He also said he has given no thought to inserting veteran quarterback Andy Dalton into the lineup in place of first overall pick Bryce Young.

“No consideration of that,” Reich said, via Darin Gantt of the team’s website.

Reich did say there will be conversations about other potential changes to the lineup as the Panthers try to beat the Titans for their second win of the season, but it’s hard to conjure up much confidence that better answers are waiting in the wings in Carolina right now.
