When it comes to the MRI scheduled to be performed Tuesday on the knee of Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, the key word is nada.
As in nothing. As in no one is saying anything.
The latest word on the subject of Ngata’s knee came from Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, who reported earlier today that surgery is not currently believed to be needed.
Per Wilson, the team hopes that Ngata simply has a sprained MCL, which absent a serious tear will heal with rest.
The Ravens should consider themselves lucky if Ngata doesn’t need surgery. It’s already February, and a lengthy rehab could significantly impact his preparations for 2013.
