For the second time in less than a week, a Mississippi State player who’s hoping to be selected in next month’s NFL draft has been arrested.
This time it was defensive lineman Chris Jones, who was stopped for speeding then arrested for driving with a suspended license, the Clarion Ledger reports. He was released after posting bond of $922.
Over the weekend, Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested for driving under the influence.
Jones is best known to NFL fans for his wardrobe malfunction at the Scouting Combine. Some view Jones as a potential first-round draft pick.
