Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson will eventually undergo treatment for the arteriovenous malformation near his brain, which caused a seizure early in training camp.
The treatment will happen after the season. In the meantime, Patterson is taking medication and playing football at the highest level.
Patterson returned to action Thursday night and immediately recorded a sack. He’ll be a big part of Philly’s defensive line rotation, which has impressive depth.
“It feels good being out here with the fellas, feeding off the energy,” Patterson said via the Philadelphia Inquirer. “The fans came out strong, and it just felt so good to be out here.
The Eagles are still waiting for Trevor Laws, Antonio Dixon, and Juqua Parker to get healthy on the defensive line.
