A Boston College product will replace New England’s star passer in the Pro Bowl.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been added to the Pro Bowl roster, the club said Monday night. He takes the place of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who will not play in Sunday’s all-star game with New England set to take on Seattle in Super Bowl XLIX in 13 days.

This is the third Pro Bowl nod for the 28-year-old Ryan. He threw for 4,694 yards with 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 2014, connecting on about two-thirds of his passes.

The Pro Bowl will be held at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the site of the Super Bowl.
