Marshon Lattimore won’t be part of the Commanders’ push to nail down a playoff spot on Sunday night.
The veteran cornerback has been ruled out against the Falcons due to a hamstring injury. Lattimore did not practice at all this week and head coach Dan Quinn told reporters on Friday that Lattimore aggravated the injury that kept him from playing in four games after he was acquired in a trade with the Saints at midseason.
Lattimore has made two appearances for Washington. He had four tackles and three passes defensed for Washington in last Sunday’s win over the Eagles.
While the Commanders won’t have Lattimore, they may have defensive tackle Jonathan Allen. He’s listed as questionable to return from being on injured reserve due to his pectoral, but was a full participant in practice all week and Quinn sounded optimistic about his outlook for the weekend.
Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota (personal) is also questionable while wide receiver Dyami Brown (hamstring), linebacker Jordan Magee (hamstring), safety Tyler Owens (ankle), and tackle Andrew Wylie (groin) have been ruled out along with Lattimore.
