LeGarrette Blount: I have nothing but respect for Marshawn Lynch

Blount

During the Patriots’ parade through Boston with the Lombardi Trophy on Wednesday, running back LeGarrette Blount posed with a t-shirt poking fun at Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch.

The shirt was in Seahawks colors and took a shot at Lynch by turning his “Beast Mode” moniker into one that read “Bitch Mode” instead. The shirt was noticed and commented on by plenty of people, none of whom likely thought that Blount was waving the shirt around because of his abundant respect for Lynch. Blount took to Twitter to tell a different story.

“About this shirt.. Just so ppl know, I have 100% respect for @MoneyLynch and how he plays the game. There’s a reason he’s called #BeastMode,” Blount wrote.

It was easy to find shirts and signs mocking the Seahawks around Boston on Wednesday and it’s hard to make a big deal about that unless you’re the sort that’s easily outraged. Whether it’s any harder than believing that Blount actually has nothing but respect for Lynch is a decision each person will have to make for themselves.
