The Seahawks needed to wait until Sunday to make a final determination on safety Kam Chancellor’s status for their game against the Cowboys, but all the waiting was worth it.
Chancellor is active for Seattle and will be in the starting lineup alongside Earl Thomas as the Seahawks try to play inhospitable hosts to the visitors from Dallas. Center Max Unger, who was listed as doubtful with a foot injury, won’t play and Steve Schilling will get the start in his place.
Wide receiver Paul Richardson, cornerback Tharold Simon, running back Christine Michael, tackle Andrew McDonald, wide receiver Kevin Norwood and tight end Zach Miller are also inactive for Seattle.
Quarterback Dustin Vaughn, safety Jakar Hamilton, linebacker Bruce Carter, defensive end Jack Crawford, defensive tackle Davon Coleman, defensive tackle Ken Bishop and tackle Donald Hawkins won’t play for Dallas.
