David Whitley apparently won’t be buying a Jaguar.
49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, whom Whitley criticized last year for his extensive collection of skin art, has been piling up the endorsements.
Via CSNBayArea.com, Kaepernick’s current sponsors include Jaguar, MusclePharm, and MoGo Sport, a company that makes flavored mouth guards.
The newest endorsement comes from Jaguar, which is rolling out a $92,000 convertible with a 495-horsepower engine and a top speed of 186 mph.
Ink or not, Kaepernick has become one of the most popular young players in the NFL. And since he can’t get a new football contract until 2014, he may as well earn as much as he can elsewhere.
