Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson is getting closer, but there’s still no definitive word on whether or not he’ll be on the field when Minnesota plays Chicago on Monday night.
Jefferson told reporters on Friday that his recovery is going well and that he’s gotten to his top speed at practice. He’s been a limited participant on the team’s injury reports since being designated to return.
But he added he’s not sure whether he’ll play this week.
“We’ll see,” Jefferson said, via Kevin Seifert of ESPN. “We still have more days to practice and really evaluate everything. We’re going to weigh the options correctly, making sure that I’m feeling well and prepared to play a game, and if I’m feeling good, I will play.”
Jefferson has been out since the Week 5 loss to the Chiefs. He has 36 catches for 571 yards with three touchdowns so far this season.
