The Falcons’ go-to target is 50-50 to play Sunday.
Wide receiver Julio Jones (hip) wasn’t present at practice on Friday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reported this morning. According to McClure, Jones’ status will be a game-time call, per Falcons coach Mike Smith.
Jones will be designated as questionable for Sunday, the Falcons’ Twitter feed said. Jones also sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Falcons host the Steelers on Sunday in Atlanta. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Eastern, with inactives posted 90 minutes beforehand.
The 25-year-old Jones leads the NFL in receiving yards (1,428) and paces the NFC in catches (93).
The Falcons (5-8) are tied for the lead in the NFC South.
