Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made his MVP case on Christmas and Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s response is off to a good start.
Allen plunged into the end zone from a yard out to cap the first Buffalo possession of Sunday’s game against the Jets and the Bills are up 7-0 as a result.
It was the 65th rushing touchdown of Allen’s career, which ties him with Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas for the most in Bills franchise history. It was also his 12th rushing touchdown of the 2024 season.
Allen was 4-of-6 for 56 yards on the way to the end zone, so he’s finding success in both phases early in Sunday’s action.
