Kicker Greg Joseph is being promoted to close out the 2024 season.
Per agent Brett Tessler, the Jets are signing Joseph to their 53-man roster and he is set to kick for New York in its season finale against Miami.
Joseph, 30, joined the Jets practice squad last week. Greg Zuerlein was activated off of injured reserve but did not attempt a kick — or even kick off — in the Week 17 loss to Buffalo.
The Jets also have Andres Carlson on their roster at kicker.
Joseph has also spent time with the Packers, Lions, Giants, and Commanders in 2024. He’s appeared in seven games — six for the Giants, one for the Commanders — and hit 15-of-19 field goals along with 8-of-8 extra points.
