The Ravens swung a trade for center Jeremy Zuttah before last season and he wound up being an integral member of their offense during the 2014 season.

Zuttah played all but one snap for Baltimore as they advanced to the divisional round of the playoffs after beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh to open up the postseason. All of that work took a bit of a toll on Zuttah physically and Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that he’s recovering from recent surgery to clean up bone spurs in his hip.

Zuttah is expected to be healthy in time to take part in OTAs, although he may not be going full speed when the Ravens return to work later this year. He should be ready for everything in time for camp and the regular season, though, as he plays the next year of a deal with Baltimore that runs through the 2018 season.

That’s good news for the team’s run game and for their offensive continuity on the field as they prepare to play for their third offensive coordinator in as many seasons.
