Cardinals running back Jermiyah Love was injured on the final play of the first half.
Love was hit high and low by Cowboys linebacker Shemar James and safety P.J. Locke, appearing to get his right ankle rolled on by James. Love jogged to the sideline before the team’s medical personnel reached him, but slammed his helmet to the ground on the sideline.
After 11 minutes in the sideline medical tent, Love departed for the X-ray room.
Love returned to practice this week after missing two games with a sprained left ankle. The third overall pick injured his right ankle in the preseason.
The Cardinals list him as questionable to return with an ankle injury.
The Cowboys lead 14-0 in a sloppy game. Cowboys backup tight end James Mitchell recovered a Javonte Williams fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and Ryan Flournoy caught a 9-yard touchdown pass.
