Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has gone from likely out against the Cowboys to officially out against the Cowboys.
The Eagles released their final injury report of the week on Friday afternoon and it showed that Hurts has been ruled out for Week 17 because of the concussion that he suffered in last Sunday’s loss to the Commanders. Hurts did not practice at all this week, so the final designation was just a formality.
Kenny Pickett hurt his ribs in that game, but he has no injury designation and is set to start against Dallas. Rookie Tanner McKee will serve as the backup.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown is also good to go for the Eagles. He was limited in Thursday’s practice with a knee issue, but got in a full practice on Friday and has no designation.
The Eagles also ruled out wide receiver Britain Covey (neck) and running back Will Shipley (concussion). Linebacker Nakobe Dean (abdomen) is listed as doubtful and edge rusher Bryce Huff (wrist) is considered questionable to be activated from injured reserve.
