Dolphins left tackle Jake Long suffered on Sunday a shoulder injury that initially was feared to be a serious one.
Two days later, he was back at practice.
“He was limited [in practice], but he did some work today and did a good job,” coach Tony Sparano said Tuesday. “We just have to see where this thing is [Wednesday] and how he feels when he gets in here, and that we don’t have any other issues come up.”
The Dolphins need Long on Thursday night, since he’ll be facing Bears defensive end Julius Peppers. And Long will be protecting the third-string quarterback on the Miami depth chart.
