The Jaguars figured out a fun way to honor retiring center Brad Meester.
They threw it to him.
Meester reported as an eligible receiver, and converted a first down on a screen pass. That play, his first reception in a 14-year-career, set up a touchdown by tight end Marcedes Lewis on the next play.
The Jaguars went up 7-3 on the Titans with those plays, in an otherwise lackluster games between teams scrambling for second place in the AFC South (for what that’s worth).
