With only two cornerbacks under contract for next season, the Jacksonville Jaguars needed to bolster their numbers in the defensive backfield.

They took a first step in doing so by re-signing one of their own on Thursday. According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars re-signed Antwaun Molden to a one-year veteran minimum deal.

Molden appeared in just three games for the Jaguars last season and made just one tackle largely only serving in special teams duty. Mike Harris and Kevin Rutland are the only other cornerbacks currently under contract with the Jaguars for next season.
