The Jaguars were willing to give Kyle Love a chance this offseason.

And now, it appears they’ll give him another offseason to get himself well.

The Jaguars announced they had put defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick on injured reserve and re-signed Love, ostensibly giving them another offseason to monitor his progress.

Love went to camp with the Jaguars, after the Patriots released him following a diagnosis of Type-2 diabetes. He passed a physical and made it through camp, but was released the day after final cuts when the Jaguars started making waiver claims. He spent some time in Kansas City this year as well.

When well, Love was a productive player for the Patriots, so it will be worth watching to see if he can stay at the same physical level.
