Jaguars assistant coach Tyler Tettleton has interviewed for the head football coaching job at Ohio University, Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reports.
Tettleton is in his third season with the Jaguars and his second season as the assistant wide receivers coach. He also has the title of pass game specialist.
Tettleton joined the Jaguars in 2022 as assistant running backs coach.
He spent five seasons as a quarterback at Ohio University, finishing with 9,129 passing yards, 67 touchdowns and 28 interceptions. He also ran for 16 touchdowns in his career.
Tettleton returned to his alma mater in 2021 as pass game coordinator and running backs coach.
His NFL experience includes a year with the Jets as a pro personnel intern in 2018 and a year with the Browns as an offensive quality control coach in 2019.
