Though quarterback Trent Edwards may not be ready to become the No. 1 quarterback of the Jaguars after only a week with the team, he’s apparently prepared to become No. 2.
Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports that the Jaguars have released veteran Todd Bouman, leaving David Garrard and Edwards as the only quarterbacks on the roster.
Last week, the Jaguars released Keith Null from the practice squad. Ganguli reports that the Jags will be re-signing him to the eight-man group of guys who supplement the 53-man roster during practice.
The Jaguars have signed defensive lineman C.J. Mosley to replace Bouman on the roster.
