It sounds like Damien Woody will return to Jets

The Jets cut Damien Woody back in February with the idea of moving Vladimir Ducasse to right tackle.

Without much time to prepare Ducasse for the role this offseason, it sounds like Woody may wind up getting his old gig back.

“From what I’m hearing, Woody will likely be back at a reduced rate,” Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News told Florio on Tuesday’s PFT Live. “And I think part of that is driven by the fact that Ducasse hasn’t been able to work with the coaching staff.”

Woody foreshadowed the move earlier this offseason during his appearance on PFT Live, saying he was open to returning. Watching Florio’s show every day is really starting to pay off!
