Here’s how to give someone a signed, personalized copy of On Our Way Home

Christmas season is officially here. You can (and you should) buy copies of On Our Way Home for only $9.99.

It’s a Christmas story that: (1) is actually good; and (2) might inspire you to repair a broken relationship, before it’s too late.

At $9.99, it makes for an inexpensive gift, and all proceeds go to a pair of charities I’ve selected for the 2025 holiday season.

I’ll be periodically giving away signed, personalized copies of the book throughout December, since posting an item about a free giveaway has the dual purpose of reminding the rest of you that the book exists and that you should buy it.

Some have said they’d like to buy a signed, personalized copy. I wasn’t going to make them available, because it’s a pain in the ass to get the books, buy the envelopes, stuff the envelopes, and lug the stuffed envelopes to the post office.

I’ve decided, in the spirit of the season, that Future Florio can worry about that. But, in order to keep Future Florio from time-traveling back to this moment and killing me, I’m limiting the offer to the first 25 people who follow these steps exactly.

Send $37.45 to the @PFTPublishing account on PayPal, and then send an email to florio@profootballtalk.com with address for shipping the book, the PayPal transaction receipt, and the preferred inscription (I’ll make the final decision on what I write in the book). I’ll then match up the emails to the PayPal transactions and get the books ordered and signed and sent.

I’ll get all of them sent by December 15.

The selected price isn’t as random as an NFL fine for not wearing matching socks. The signed book costs $30. Shipping is $5. Sales tax is $2.45.

My entire proceeds — less shipping and sales tax — will be added to the pot that will be split between the Michael Phelps Foundation (in honor of friend and longtime PFT supporter Jay Glazer) and Enfield Public Schools (in honor of friend and longtime PFT supporter Peter King).

And I’m dead serious about the number of books available; it’s not some Beanie Baby marketing ploy. I won’t accept payment from No. 26 or No. 27 or No. 28 or beyond. And I’ll make it clear when 25 orders have been received, so that no one else take the time to send in a request.
