Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is done for the day with a back injury. But that doesn’t mean he’ll be done for the next week, or beyond.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the initial indication is that the back injury is not serious. He’s currently not expected to miss any more time, beyond today’s game against the Jets.

Of course, that can change. For now, that’s the update regarding the latest injury for a guy who has had plenty of them.

Gronkowski missed last week’s contest against the 49ers with a chest injury suffered two weeks ago against the Seahawks.

The Patriots host the Rams next Sunday.
