The Bengals and Giants will reportedly practice together for two days in Cincinnati before the Saturday, August 14 preseason opener for both clubs.
According to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, the joint workouts will occur on Wednesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 12.
The Bengals and Giants do not play in the regular season, making them logical practice partners.
The workouts will pit clubs led by two of the NFL’s longest-tenured head coaches, with Marvin Lewis (Cincinnati) and Tom Coughlin (New York) both taking their current jobs 12 years ago. At 15 years, New England’s Bill Belichick has the longest current service time of any head coach.
