The Giants are quickly moving their coaching search beyond their own coordinators.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Giants have requested permission to interview Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase.
That’s not an upset, since Gase is in high demand, expected to meet with the Eagles, Browns and Dolphins this week.
The Giants are also going to interview defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and are expected to put offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo on that list.
Owner John Mara also said earlier today he wouldn’t be opposed to trading a draft pick for the right coach (cough, Sean Payton, cough), so we can assume the net being cast there is wide.
