The Falcons are making a couple of moves at kicker.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Atlanta is placing Younghoe Koo on injured reserve and signing Riley Patterson off of Cleveland’s practice squad.
It’s currently unclear what injury Koo is dealing with, though he did land on the injury report a few weeks ago with a right hip issue. Koo missed one of his three field goals in Monday night’s win over the Raiders.
He’s made 73.5 percent of his 34 field goal attempts this season.
Patterson kicked for the Browns last week, making his one kick — an extra point. He spent time with the Falcons on their practice squad earlier in the year. Patterson has made 88.1 percent of his career field goals for Detroit, Jacksonville, Cleveland, and the Jets.
